About this Beach

St Julian's was named after a small chapel dedicated to the saint that once stood at the water's edge, demolished as the town grew around it. By the early twentieth century the area had become the summer retreat of choice for Valletta's middle classes; the beach scene today is more international but no less lively.

By car

On the main seafront in St Julian's, between Balluta Bay and Paceville.

By bus

Buses 12, 13, 14 to St Julian's/Paceville.
